Omelette with Bacon


Hi everyone, today, let me share with you how I make my omelette. It’s one of my favorite things to eat for breakfast. This is a simple omelette with no cheese, no butter. Trust me, when I tell you it’s so delicious, you will swallow your tongue lol. Anyway, let me get right into it, shall we?

For this particular omelette I used:

1Tsp of olive oil

3 eggs

Bacon pieces

1Tsp of lime juice

All purpose saosoning

Start by beating 3 eggs with the lime juice,and a pinch of all purpose seasonings

Then, add the bacon pieces

In a non-stick pan or skillet, over medium high- heat, add olive oil, then pour eggs mixture into the pan. Just like that.

Mixture should set immediately at edges.

Gently push cooked portions from edges toward the center with inverted turner so that uncooked eggs can reach the hot pan surface. Continue cooking, tilting pan and gently moving cooked portions as needed.

Fold omelet in half with turner. With a quick flip of the wrist, turn pan and invert or slide omelet onto plate.

Serve immediately.

I had it with some toasted bagel, sauteed kale and my green smoothie.

    1. Where I grew up ( in the Caribbean) Haiti to be precise.It was a myth if you eat eggs late, you will get sick. Really sick. So I never attempted to eat eggs pass 11 am. I know it’s a myth and you can have eggs anytime of the day really, but I just like having them for breakfast. πŸ˜‚
