Hello everyone. I hope you are all doing fantastic! I am here today to share with you my stew chicken leg recipe. For this recipe, I used:
1.5 pounds of chicken legs
2 Tbsp of olive oil
1 tsp of grated ginger
1 pack of sason goya seasonings
1 chicken cube
1/2 tsp of chilli powder
1 tsp of garlic powder
1Tbsp of paprika
1/2 lime juice
1 Tbsp of dried parsley
1 Tbsp of browning
Salt and pepper to taste.
This is what the browning looks like.( you can skip the browning if you can’t find it. It’s just for some extra color)
To garnish, I use onions and green bell pepper. Let’s get this party started!😜
Wash chicken very well, then I put all the seasonnings I just mention except for the salt and oil. Mix everything together until chickens are well coated.
Refrigerate for at least 1 hour. Overnight is best. Now let’s get cooking!
In a non stick pan over medium high heat, add oil, then the chicken legs.
Let them fry 2 minutes on each side. Then, in the same bowl I use to marinade the chicken,I add 2 cups of water, and pour it over the chicken legs.
Add 3 more cups of water.
At this point, taste it, and feel free to add some salt if needed. Let it cook on medium low, covered for about 2 hours, or until cooked and sauce has thickened
Garnish with onions and green bell pepper. Enjoy!!!
