The Mulate’s Cajun Restaurant

A week ago, I visited New Orleans, and had the pleasure to experience all of its beauty and delicious food. Today Im here to share with you one of my favorite dish that I tried while I was visiting.

I went to Mulate’s Cajun Restarant. Very nice restaurant with live music and dancing.

After contempleting the menu, I decided to try their famous zydeco gumbo dish.

Zydeco gumbo is a traditional seafood gumbo that contains, oysters, crab, shrimp and a spicy thick broth, made with spices, aromatic , and a dark roux.

When I saw the plate,  I regretted that I ordered a large size, and not a small. It was not the best looking dish and looked very messy. (Lol) Then, first bite, Wow! Amazing!  I was able to finish it in less than 5 minutes. That’s how delicious the zydeco gumbo was. Yuuummmm! Yuuuummmm! Yuuuummm!

For desert, I had bread pudding with rum raisin sauce. Here you go ladies and gentlemen!

Best bread pudding I’ve ever had! I have traveled the US and had bread pudding everywhere, but nothing else compares!

As I was exiting the restaurant, I noticed a big sign saying ” j’espere vous revoir bientot”. You got that right!

I will definitely come back for more. That’s for sure!

Thank you guys for taking the time to read my post. I hope you enjoy. Have a wonderful day and until next time.😍
